Day 3 - A brief summary!

Today has been very busy!

Group A have been to Plas dol-y-moch lake in the morning and to the pottery (Bryn Mawr) on the Afon Dwyryd in the afternoon.  (Afon is a Welsh word - can you work out what it means?)

Group B have been to Wrysgan Mine and Moel yr Hydd (which means the hill of the stag) - we reached the summit in strong wind!

Group C have been to Llyn Mair (Mary's lake) and Coed Mair Stream (in Mary's forest).

Simon (Garry's dad): Having been given a great opportunity to go with all from Howes, it has been a great privilege to witness all of the achievements and high standards that all of the pupils have accomplished so far.  Thanks!

  1. Hi everyone - Miss Szyndler's mum here. Even though the weather looks a bit bleak you all still seem to be having a lot of fun. I can imagine there are a lot of dirty clothes to come home with you - glad I don't have to do Miss Szyndler's washing anymore (especially after she fell in the lake!)
